Foods and Acne

There are no foods that really cause acne except the foods that contain iodine. The most common place to find iodine is in foods like shellfish. Shrimp crab and lobster are big ones that if you are trying to get rid of acne you really should cut out. The many myths you hear about pizza and chocolate are false they in no way directly cause you to have ace. The problem is if you eat badly in general your body is going to suffer and so your skin will too.

Another big issue with acne is if you have an allergic reaction to food you can cause your skin to break out because the allergy to the food will cause your skin to break out and cause inflammation to the skin which can cause acne to appear on the skin. So if you have really bad acne It would be a great Idea to go see a dermatologist and see if a food is causing your acne to become worse than it would be f your weren’t eating that food. Another good way to find out is by cutting out foods for a week or two that will help you eliminate the food that is causing you to break out and suffer.
